Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate occurrence of bite flaw on the inner surface of a cylinder and prevent a leak of oil, by providing an annular hollowed part for mounting an O-ring in the periphery at an end of a head cover, forming the end part of the head cover from the hollowed part into a dimension of smaller outside diameter and providing a clearance between the inner circumference of a barrel and the head cover.
CONSTITUTION: In the periphery at a point end of a cylinder head cover 2 an annular hollowed part 8 for mounting an O-ring is provided, and the point end part of the head cover 2 from the hollowed part 8 is formed into a dimension of smaller outside diameter to provide a clearance 7 between the inner circumference of a cylinder barrel 1 and the head cover. In this way, when the cylinder head cover 2 is screw mounted, even if a bite action due to the defective screw, a flaw is not caused on the contact surface of an O-ring 3 to eliminate a trouble of oil leak.
