Abstract
PURPOSE:To widen the band on the whole by equalizing force applied to a cone and that applied to each nodal circle of a diaphragm by equalizing the semivertical angle of each driving cone so that nearly equal force will be applied to nodal circles of a circular plane diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Circular plane diaphragm 1, supported by edge 2 at its circumference, of D1 in diameter and even thickness, and cone 11 large and cone 12 small in semivertical angle fixed at their circumferences to nodal circles generated when this diaphragm 1 is excited while its circumference is made free are provided. Further, voice coil 4 is fixed to one terminal, and bobbin 3 with internal circumferential parts of cones 11 and 12 fixed to the other terminal and spider 13 support the circumference of bobbin 3 are provided to constitute the vibration system. Further, magnetic gap 17 covering coil 4 is provided and the magnetic circuit is composed of pole plate 5, magnet 6 and external yoke plate 7. Then, force transmitted to cones 11 and 12 and force applied to each nodal circle of diaphragm 1 are nearly equalized, thereby widening the band on the whole.
