Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the adjustment of the humidity of a passenger room and the prevention of moisture collection on a windshield through a single humidity detector, by placing the humidity detector near the intersection of the windshield with a ceiling. CONSTITUTION:A humidity detector 1 is provided near the intersection of the windshield 3 of an automobile with its ceiling 4. A dashboard 6 is provided with a defrosting blow-off port 7 so that blown-off air flows to the humidity detector 1 along the inside of the windshield 3. The air blown from the port 7 is mixed with some air in a passenger room. The humidity of the mixed air is found out by the detector 1. When no air is blown from the port, the humidity of only the air staying in the passenger room is detected. As a result, the adjustment of the humidity of the room and the prevention of moisture collection on the windshield can be effected through the single humidity detector.
