Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by attaining a fail-safe function by cutting off a sending-back loop by stopping electric power supply to a system even if a supervising circuit gets out of order. CONSTITUTION:A discrimination signal characteristic to relay 2 is supplied to the driving system consisting of filter 16, AC amplifier 17, detector 18, DC amplifier 19, and differentiating circuit 20 and driving coil 10 of photoswitch 8 is driven by the differential output of the above-mentioned circuit. Although shutter 11 of photoswitch 8 is normally open by release spring 12, photoshutter 11 is normally opened by being driven by driving coil 10. At this time, feeding electric current to lock coil 15 locks photoshutter 11 by clock lever 14 and then the shutter stays open. In case of an accident such as the continuation of the output of the above- mentioned 19, the electric power supply to the system is stopped to unlock the shutter, which is closed in consequence.
