Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible that an electroacoustic transducer has an arbitrary frequency characteristic adapted to use purposes, by sticking an adjusting band to the center of the vibrating material spread over the aperture face of the fixing material. CONSTITUTION:One vibrating piece 2 of tuning fork type crystal vibrator 1 is fitted to substrate 4 through fixing stand 3 consisting of insulating materials, and lead wires 7 and 8 are led out from a pair of electrodes of vibrator 1. Cylindrical material 9 is caused to adhere to the peripheral part of substrate 4, and vibrating material 10 is stuck to the aperture face to seal the box hermetically. Further, the center corresponding to the belly of vibration of vibrating material 10 and the tip part of vibrating piece 6 are linked with each other by linking material 11. Adjusting material 12 is stuck to the center of vibrating material 10. If a flexible material is used as this adjusting material 12, the upper limit of the frequency band is moved to the low-frequency side, and further, the peak of sensitivity is obtained in the upper limit band. Meanwhile, if high-density metal is used for adjusting material 12, the peak of a very sharp sensitivity is obtained in a specific frequency determined according to the mass.
