Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain titled fuel which perfectly burns instantaneously and is freed from formation of sooty smoke and NOx, by drying a sufficiently fine waste material to below a specific moisture content. CONSTITUTION:The fuel is obtained by drying in a drier 2, a waste material such as barks, saw-dusts or cuttings to obtain a product having a moisture content of below 20%. The material is fed as such, whin it is in the divided form, and the material is fed after grinding and at the same time uniforming in a grinder 1, to a size of below 1.5mm., when it is large. In the practice of burning the fuel, the fuel held in a hopper 3 is fed to a conduit pipe 5 through a metering device 4. From the conduit pipe 5, the fuel is conveyed together with air to a tapered injecting end 7 by a fan provided in the conduit pipe 5, injected into a combustion furnace 8 and burned. EFFECT:Supply of secondary or tertiary air is not required, and utilization of almost all effective calories of wood is possible.
