Abstract

PURPOSE:To introduce humidified air directly to the breast portion of a passenger and give him pleasant feeling, by introducing humidified air made by a humidifier to an upper air jet passage communicating with the case which forms an air flow passage. CONSTITUTION:When a room is heated as in winter, hot water is introduced to a heater 5 and at the same time operation of a cooler 4 is stopped. Further, an air- mix damper 6 and an air jet passage shange-over damper 8 are turned to the positions shown in solid lines in the figure. In this arrangement the hot air that has past the heater 5 is led to the lower air jet passage 10 to shoot the floor near the legs of a passenger. If, during the room heating, the room humidity drops in an automobile and humidifying is conducted, the humidifier switch is turned on to operate a humidifier 15, and humidifying the air flowing from the humidified air passage 14 to the side of an upper air jet passage 9 is made by a piezoelectric ceramic device 16, and the humidified air is blown out directly to the breast portion of the passenger.
