Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the shelf life and leakproof of a dry cell by heating and shrinking a heat shrinking tube melting a wax when the wax layer formed on a block is packed with the heat shrinking tube. CONSTITUTION:A wax layer 3 is formed on a block 2 formed by laminating element cells, covered with heat shrinking polyvinyl chloride tube 1, and packed by heating to shrink. When, after the block 2 is covered with the heat shrinking polyvinyl chloride tube 1, the tube 1 is shrinked melting the wax by heating at 70- 90 deg.C. The molten wax is forced to enter into spaces between the surface of the block 2 and tube 1 by shrink-pressure of the tube, and the air is excluded entirely to fit the tube 1 with the surface of the block 2 tightly with a space of the wax layer 3.
