Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to take measurement in operation by supporting a cylinder so that the cylinder is relatively displaceable from a cylinder block, by fitting a displacement detector, which detects the relative diplacement, between the cylinder and cylinder block, and by forming top part of the cylinder in fixed airtight structure through an O ring.
CONSTITUTION: Stabilizers 2 and 3 are supported in cylinder 4 at their one-side ends and also in the cylinder block at theri other-side ends through elastic body 7 being relatively displaceable. Once the engine starts, piston 20 reciprocates vertically and friction between piston rings 23W26 and inside cylinder wall 4c displaces cylinder 4 from cylinder block 5 relatively, so that pickup 8 provided between the both detects the displacement extent. On the other hand, even if gaseous pressure changes suddenly, O ring holder 12, provided through O ring 11 to keep the cylinder top aritight, is never displaced due to the gaseous pressure because it is separated from cylinder head 15, and it is not influenced by vertical vibration, so that the measurement in operation can be taken.
