Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an adhesive composition having excellent workability and water-proofness and suitable as undercoat for mortar coating by mixing a cationic rubber emulsion and a cationic thermoplastic resin emulsion.
CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of (A) a cationic rubber asphalt emulsion provided by mixing a cationic rubber emulsion contg. cationic surfactant and rubber with molten asphalt, and having 40W70wt% of solid in which the rubber occupies 2W 20wt% of the solid, and 20W300pts.wt. of (B) a cationic thermoplastic resin emulsion contg. 40W60wt% of a methyl methacrylate-methacrylic acid copolymer are mixed, or if necessary, along with filler, thickener, drying agent, mold inhibitor, etc.
EFFECT: This has no malodor and gives good mortar adhesive force to concrete underface in addition to plywoods, etc.
