Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent supplied particles from aggregation and to form fluidized layer by a method wherein a gas is guided from the underside of a permeable distribution plate at the lower part of a container and a sound wave with a specified frequency is generated from the underside of the distribution plate. CONSTITUTION:Gas is compressed with a blower 1 and is forced through a distrubution plate 3 so that the gas is projected into the inside of a container filled with packing 7. This causes particles already supplied 5 (such as fly ash) to be fluidized. At the same time, sound wave is generated by an oscillator 8, is amplified by an amplifier 9 and is transmitted to the container 4 using a speaker 10. Said action loosen the adhesion-aggregation properties of the particles and smoothens their fluidization. In this condition, a constant-speed gas flow is used to classify the mixed particles so that relatively fine particles are collected by a particle collector 12 at the upper part of the container 4. After the flow of fine particles is completed, the gas flow is increased and the same operation is repeated, so that the collector 12 can collect and classify particles, starting with fine ones to coarse ones in sequence.
