Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage to cell and instruments used even when an anomalism occurs in cell being used by incorporating a safety device to control current by detecting the deformation of cell into a container into which a laminated button- type cell is housed. CONSTITUTION:An optional number of button-type laminated cells are housed in the cylindrical metal container 1 having its bottom serving as a negative terminal and its inside provided with a resin insulation whose upper part serves as a packing. The negative pole side of the laminated cell is directly electrically connected to the bottom of the cell container 1, and also its positive pole side is connected to the cover 4 serving as a positive terminal through the safety device 5 detecting the deformation of the cell. The safety device 5 is connected to the positive terminal of conductive bars the lower part of which is the button type cell 3 and also provided with the switch 9 with the contact 10 movable up and down according to the deformation of the cell.
