Abstract
PURPOSE: To economize energy by controlling the discharge pressure of a compressor to keep the largest minimum pressure of necessity among those set differently for several factories and pressures of remained factories to keep their respective minimum pressures of necessity by separate controls.
CONSTITUTION: A factory which requires the highest pressure of air among several factories is selected for the object of an unload control, and the discharge pressure of a compressor 1 is controlled to keep the pressure of necessity set for the factory by a pressure setter 6. In remaining factories, their controls are respectively switched over to the sides of pressure control valves 8. In this construction, factory pressures detected by pipe-end pressure transmitters 5 are controlled by the pressure control valves 8 to be reduced to the minimum pressures of necessity. All the factories are ensured to be controlled in their minimum pressures of necessity, and the compressor 1 can be operated by the minimum consumption of electricity.
