Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable upward conveyance, by using a porous fluidized bed to divide the interior of the body of a casing into an air chamber with an air feed means and a conveying chamber with a forced conveying means.
CONSTITUTION: When air is supplied from an air feed means 29 into an air chamber 26, the air is blown into the entire space of a conveying chamber 24 through a fluidized bed 23. When powder 25 is thrown down through an inlet port 27, the powder is stirred by the air blown out of the fluidized bed 23 so that the powder is fluidized. The fluidized powder gravitates on a downward slope 30 from the fluidized bed 23 under the inlet port 27 to a bent section. The powder 25 conveyed to the bent section is moved up on an upward slope 31 by a rotary valve 32 near the bent section and then moved by a following rotary valve 32 so that the powder is sequentially conveyed toward an outlet port 28.
