PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve the conducting speed of a specimen analysis, by rotating the table of a sampler apparatus for an automatic analyzer more than one turn for each item to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:A sample cup 1 of a sampler apparatus 2 is stopped at the A position, and a specimen sample for one item is sucked by means of a sampling mechanism 31. Immediately thereafter, the sample cup 1 is transferred by rotation and stopped at the B positon. Here, a sampling mechanism 32 is operated to suck a volume for one item from the same specimen sample similarly, and an analytical operation is started. In the case where another item is analyzed with the same specimen sample by means of a reaction line 61, the sample cup 1 is transferred by rotation to the A position again. To analyze an adjacent specimen sample, the sample cup 1 is rotated more than one turn and stopped at the C position, and the same sampling operation is repeated. Thereby, if a plurality of sampling mechanisms are set around the sampler apparatus, they can be operated in parallel to each other. Accordingly, the idle time can be eliminated.
