Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a special montage by providing at least two memory devices for TV picture signals and by supplying an electronic photoengraving device with a signal composed of picture signals from those memory devices. CONSTITUTION:In a frame memory 201, a one-frame picture with a blue back is stored from a VRT101 and in a frame memory 202, a one-frame picture equivalent to the blue back part is also stored from a VTR102. Those two pictures are read simultaneously and supplied to a picture composition console via NTSC decoders 301 and 302 respectively. A composite picture having the picture at the blue back part is outputted to a photoengaraving scanner to be exposed to a film 9. Thus, a four color separation plate is obtained. Simularly, wiping and special effect are possible and a special montage which can not be obtained by a film picture is obtained.
