Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve lubricity by simultaneously providing two individual furnctions, such as lubricating function for a piston and a cylinder liner, and cooling function for the piston, in one lubricator. CONSTITUTION:An oil hole 5 for feeding lubricating oil is provided in the direction to slant upward at the lower part of a cylinder liner 1, by which lubricating oil can be always fed. When a piston 2 is at a place higher than this hole 5, the lubricating oil fed through the oil hole 5 arrives at the back side of the piston 2 and cools the piston 2. In case where the piston 2 is at the place to close the oil hole 5, the lubricating oil is fed around the space between the piston 2 and the cylinder line 1, and it is fed around the sliding faces.
