Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the heat generation quantity and facilitate the regulation of the rising of the current flowing through coils by providing a signal generating means which supplies a driving signals to the root selecting switch and another signal generating means which supplies a driving signal to the coil driving switch.
CONSTITUTION: A transistor (TR)9 for selecting the flyback root and transistors TR10 for driving coils and diodes 11 and 12 are provided respectively. The driving signal of the TR9 is at a low level during a period of T1+T2, while the driving signal of each of the TR10 is at a high level during a period of T1. During the period of T1, current flows through a power line VH, the TR9, the coils 2, the TRs 10 and the ground to rise. During the period of T2, the current flows through a closed loop comprising the TR9, the coils 2 and the diode 11, decreasing at the rate determined by the time constant of the closed loop. Thus, making the period of time of T2 variable permits an actual falling waveform to be approximated to an ideal curve.
