Abstract
PURPOSE: An agricultural chemical dust composition that is made by adding, as a stabilizer, an iron salt to a mixed dust preparation composed of iron methanearsonate and a carbamate, thus preventing the carbamate in the dust preparation from being decomposed and showing high stability for a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: Iron methanearsonate, which is used as a mixed dust or granules for rice fields because of its high controlling activity against sheath blight and high economic efficiency, and a carbamate such as 1-naphthyl-N-methyl carbamate or 3-tolyl-N-methyl carbamate, which is used to control green rice hoppers and plant hoppers, are combined to produce a preparation for simultaneously controlling them wherein an iron salt is added to the preparation by 0.5W5wt% based on the total weight of the composition as a stabilizer to inhibit the decomposition of the carbamate. An example of the iron salt is ferrous sulfate, ferric phosphate or ferric oxalate.
