Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an ideal automatic focusing device by a TTL system by measuring the correlative relation of the intensity distributions of a subject by the luminous fluxes past the different parts of a photographic optical system. CONSTITUTION:The light past the points A and B of a photographic lens 1 from the object is reflected by a half mirror 4, is split by a blade 2 reciprocatively moved in arrow directions driven by a blade driving device 5 and enters a CCD 3 in the position conjugate with a film F driven by a sensor driver 6. The time series signal Sv indicating the intensity distribution in the (y) direction of the object is converted to binary coded signals DA, DB for luminous fluxes A and B by a binary coder 7, the data whereof are stored in memories 8A, 8B. The correlations of the data are determined by a correlator 9, the image distance delta between the luminous fluxes A and B is applied to an operator 10, the movement extent DELTAV of the photographic lens inputs to a differential amplifier 11, and the position of the lens 1 is adjusted by the differential output between the same and the position signal Vx from a position sensor 12. Thereby, the ideal automatic focusing device by a TTL system is obtained.
