Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a bend having neither uneven thickness nor inner surface wrinkles, by forming an unhardened straight tube centrifugally at the inner surface of a rotary mold, removing it from the rotary type by inserting a film tube therein, and then bending it in a bend molding to work while decreasing the inner pressure of the tube.
CONSTITUTION: A straight tube 2 made of unhardened resin is centrifugally formed at the inner surface of a rotary die 1. After the insertion of a film tube 8 therein, a compressed air is injected to keep an inner pressure A. Then, the rotary die 1 is split for removing from the straight tube, whereby said straight tube is charged in a bend molding 19 decreasing the inner pressure to an inner pressure B. The tube 8 is provided with a margine for extension due to the decrease of the inner pressure, and at a bending work time the outer arc side extends, thereby being able to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles at the inner surface of the tube. Then, the rotary molding is performed using an axis 21 as a center by increasing the inner pressure (smaller than the inner pressure A). Thus, the bend is obtained followed by heat hardening.
