Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to largely reduce the number of processes needed for manufacture of a casing for a gas-turbine compressor, by integrally casting a casing having a groove part, fixing a half ring-shaped member to the step part formed in a portion of the groove part in order to form a bleeder hole, and assembling thus formed upper and lower casings together.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 14 having a groove part 16 is cast. Into a step part 17 formed in a portion of said groove part 16 by machining, a half ring-shaped member 15, which has been machined separately, is fitted in order to form a bleeding hole having an opening of given width. The half surface of the ring-shaped member 15 is secured by using, e.g., bolts 19 as shown in the figure. Thus, the upper and lower half casings 14 and 14 in which the half ring-shaped members 15 and 15 have been secured to the respective grooves 16 having the step parts 17 are assembled together. According, formation of the bleeder hole is made possible by using the casings 14 of integral structure, and the number of the necessary processes can be largely reduced by facilitating the assembly thereof.
