Abstract
PURPOSE: A deodorant for bad smell of raw fish comprising a specific organic acid as an active ingredient and a deodorizing device for bad smell of raw fish prepared by impregnating a material with the deodorant and sealing it up in an openable way.
CONSTITUTION: One or more organic acids selected from the group consisting of malic acid, citric acid, and tartaric acid are blended with a perfume conisting essentially of a small amount of nonionic surface active agent and an extremely small amount of a terpene such as limonene, α-terpineol, etc., to give the titled deodorant. The deodrant is impregnated into paper, fabric, nonwoven fabric, open-cell foamd plastic sheet, etc. and sealed up in an openable way to give a deodorizing device for bad smell of raw fish.
