Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a shallow drawn part from creasing by providing a deep drawing part opposing to a blank holder to the edge side to be deeply drawn and providing a material hold-down part opposing to the blank holder to the edge side to be shallowly drawn thereby grasping under pressure and holding the blank.
CONSTITUTION: The edge side to be deeply drawn of a blank B is grasped under pressure and held by a deep drawing part 2 and a blank holder 6, and the other side of the blank B is grasped under pressure and held by a material hold-down 3 and a movable blank holder 8, whereby the blank is uniformly and surely grasped under pressure and held prior to deep drawing. Since in the shallow drawing part, the blank holder 8 and the material hold-down 3 are grasping under pressure and holding the edge side of the blank B firmly, the shallow drawing part is prevented from creasing. Thence, the blank B is retreated gradually under cushion while being kept grasped under pressure and held in correspondence to the descending of a die 1 by the elastic pressure of the movable blank holder 8 and the material hold-down 3, and therefore moving of the excess blank material from the blank edge side part to the drawing side is properly prevented during drawing.
