Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent wheel alignment from misalignment by adjusting a toe-in angle of an independent suspension device having a parallel linkage by pivoting a chassis mounted bracket brought into engagement with a pivotal one-piece body eccentrically mounted on the suspension device. CONSTITUTION:A pivotal body 32 is pivoted in the direction of arrow J by loosening bolts 31b, 34b, 35b and using a tool 40. Thus, the pivotal body 32 is pivoted in the direction J about the center 32h of a hole 32g through which the bolt extends and engaging portions H, I between engaging surfaces 32a, 32b and an engaging surface 28k of a bracket 28 are shifted to ones H', I' and distance h' between the new engaging point H' and the center 32h is extended longer than the initial distance (h) and the distance between the engaging point I' and the center 32h shortened. Thus, the bracket 28 is pivoted about a bolt hole 28g in the direction K to pivot a tire in the direction K through a parallel linkages 22, 23 and provide toe-in trend. Hence, wheel alignment can be prevented from misalignment to permit the adjustment of toe-in angle.
