Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily secure a slope necessary for drainage by supporting an excavator of a spiral form in such a way as to gradually change the depth of a trench according to the rolling movement of a guage wheel when a drainage trench is excavated by a trencher connected to a mobile tillage implement.
CONSTITUTION: A trencher 3 is supported in a vertically rotatable manner at a supporting point 5 on a mobile tillage implement 1 by three-point link, and its power is transmitted through a swivel coupling shaft 35. And, a guage wheel 16 is attached in a freely rocking manner to the rear part of the trencher 3, and the rotation of a rotary shaft 17 by the rolling movement of the guage wheel 16 is transmitted to a vertical position regulating bar 19 connected with a female screw 22 supported by the bracket 21 of the trencher 3 by means of a bevel gear 15. Thus, the trencher 3 goes forward in the direction of arrows A and the guage wheel 16 turns, whereupon the regulating bar 19 moves downwards gradually and thereby the trencher 3 is gradually lifted up to make the depth of the trench being excavated shallower gradually.
