Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition which cures at a low temperature and bonds without using a primer, by compounding a polyorganosiloxane with a polyorganohydrogensiloxane, an organic silicon compound, a polyorganohydroxysiloxane, and a platinum catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyorganosiloxane containing the unit of formula I (R<1> is alkenyl; R<2> is univalent hydrocarbon; a is 1 or 2; b is 0-2; a+b is 1-3), (B) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane containing the unit of formula II (R<3> is univalent hydrocarbon; c is 0-2; d is 1 or 2; c+d is 1-3) wherein the amount of B component is selected to give 0.5-4.0mol of H bonded to Si per 1mol of R<1>, (C) 1-10pts.wt. of an organic silicon compound of formula III (Q<1> and Q<2> are alkylene; R<4> is 1-4C alkyl), (D) 0.5-100pts.wt. of a polyorganohydroxysiloxane containing the unit of formula IV (R<5> is univalent hydrocarbon; e is 0-2), and (E) 0.1-100ppm as Pt, based on the A component, of a platinum catalyst.
