Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost, and to improve the productivity, by coiling the straight finned product extruded from the continuous extruder with the coiler installed in the rear of the extruder, and at the same time, by revolving the coiler around the axis of the twisting frame.
CONSTITUTION: The straight, finned product 1 extruded from the continuous extruder 2 is cooled by the cooler 4, is passed through the guide sheave 5 and the dancer 6 wherein the fluctuation of velocity of the product 1 is absorbed, is passed through the twist restraining sheave 7, is passed through the hole 8a bored in the frame holding shaft of the twisting machine 8 rotated by the driving motor 10, and is wound around the guide sheaves 12, 13, 14. The product 1 is finally continuously coiled by the coiler 15 which is at the same time revolved around the axis of the frame of the twisting machine 8; hereby, the product 1 is formed into the finned tube or wire twisted with a lead angle.
