Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the effective use of the stored energy of heat and the long- term and stable supply of air of fixed temperature and fixed flow rate by controlling the quantity of air to be divided by the temperature of heated air in the case wherein a part of air for heating a car room is divided into a regenerator to be heated and is mixed again with the remaining part and made to flow into the car room. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water for an engine, etc. radiates heat while passing through the passage 12 of the regenerator 10, and the heat is stored in the regenerator 10. Meanwhile, a fixed quantity Q of the air for heating is introduced from a passage pipe 7 and then a part Qb thereof led from a branch part 8 into the regenerator 10, where it is subjected to thermal absorption, flows to a branch discharge pipe 9 and is mixed again with the remaining air Qa. The temperature T after the air thus divided is heated is detected by a sensor 18 and the degrees of the opening of valves 14, 15 and 16 are adjusted as the temperature T, i.e. the temperature of the regenerator 10, lowers to control so as to increase the quantity Qb of air of a branch flow and to reduce the quantity Qa of air of a main flow. By this constitution, the stored energy of heat can be utilized effectively and the air of fixed temperature can be supplied for a long time in a stable manner.
