Abstract

PURPOSE:To make connection of light possible even in the case in which a drum rotates by providing one piece of a fiber and >=1 piece of light connectors including one piece of optical fiber which rotates or revolves relatively with this at the rotating center. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber cable 2 is wound on a cable drum 1, and a movable optical connector 3 is mounted near the rotating axis of a cable drum 1. Further, an optical fiber 4 is connected to the connector 3, whereby an optical fiber cable drum is formed. This optical fiber cable drum prevents the optical fiber 4 from twisting owing to the effect of the connector 3 despite rotation of the drum 1 in arrow directions. An optical fiber 11 and an optical fiber 12 are disposed in such a manner that their optical axes align and that the respective end faces perpendicular to said optical axes oppose to each other by leaving a microspacing deltax.
