Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of an armature coil by contacting solder with a connecting portion when the lead of the coil is connected to a commutator segment by an ultrasonic welding and melting the solder with preheat to weld it, thereby increasing the strength of the connecting part and suppressing the temperature rise at the connecting part. CONSTITUTION:The lower and upper leads 3b and 3a of an armature coil are superposed on the surface of the segment 7 of a commutator integrated with molding resin 6, and a tip 18 of an ultrasonic welder is contacted with the leads to connect them. A flux solder 19 is contacted with the connecting part at that time, molten with preheat, secured thereto, and a part 20 with a solder is formed. Thus, the bending stress strength and the corrosion resistane of the connecting part can be improved, and the deterioration and the burn-out of the molding resin 6 can be prevented due to the removal of the heat at the connecting part.
