Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the mixture of suction gas and exhaust gas by forming an end cover partitioned into a space communicating with a suction passage and a space communicating with an exhaust passage at the end face of a body in which the suction passage and the exhaust passage are alternately disposed.
CONSTITUTION: A body 1 in which the ports 5a of a suction passage 5 and the ports 7a of an exhaust passage 7 are alternately arranged laterally and longitudinally in superposed manner is mounted with end covers 2, 3 on the end face. The body 8 of the end cover 2 is formed by associating a partition plate 9 bent in zigzag shape of the same pitch as that of the rows of the ports 5a and 7a of the passages 5 and 7 respectively, and one space 10 with the partition plate 9 is communicated with the ports 5a of the passage 5 and the ports 7a of the passage 7 at the other space 11. The other end cover 3 is similary formed, and the suction stream A and the exhaust stream B flow in confronting manner to thus heat exchange therebetween.
