Abstract

PURPOSE:To make toner charging uniform and prevent uneven developing by providing a fur brush roller for developing, a brush roller for toner supplying and a charger, and subjecting the toner to frictional charging and electric charging. CONSTITUTION:A fur brush roller 28 for developing and a brush roller 29 behind this are provided in a roller chamber 26. These rollers 28 and 29 interlock respectively to a driving source so as to revolve in the arrow direction. Further, a charger 40 for charging the toner is provided in a casing 24 opposing to the roller 29. This charger 40 is constituted of an electrode element 41 and a cloth 42 as a contactor superposed thereon. Since the charger having the soft contactor is put in sliding friction with the fur brush roller for developing in this way, the charging is made uniform by electric charging in addition to frictional charging, and the uneven developing is prevented.
