Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a sufficient warming up effect of a steam turbine in a short time by providing the steam turbine with a communicating duct line which provides a short-circuiting between a main steam pipe on the entrance side of the high pressure turbine and a low temperature regenerated steam pipe on the exit side of the turbine and which has a decompressor and a temperature reducing device disposed therein which are controlled suitably.
CONSTITUTION: A turbine plant includes a boiler 1, a high pressure turbine 2, a low temperature turbine 3, a condenser 4, and so on. An auxiliary prewarming steam pipe 13 is connected to a low temperature regenerated steam pipe 8 which is in turn connected to the exhaust side of the high pressure turbine 2. A decompression valve 17 and a temperature reducing valve 18 are disposed on a communicating duct line 16 which provides a connection between a main steam pipe 5 and the low temperature regenerated steam pipe 8. A pressure detector 19 and a temperature detector 20 are disposed downstream of the temperature reducing valve 18 to control the amount of spray from the temperature reducing device 18 through a controller 22 in accordance with the outputs of the detectors 19 and 20. Further, a high pressure car chamber inner face metal temperature detector 23 and a high pressure car chamber pressure detector 24 are also provided to control the decompression valve 17 through a controller 25 in accordance with the outputs thereof.
