Abstract
PURPOSE: A novel type of heat-storing material that is prepared by mixing calcium chloride, calcium bromide and water in a specific proportion, thus effectively working near room temperature with low costs, because it shows stable heat cycles with no crystallization out of foreign substances and performs rapid heat storing and discharging.
CONSTITUTION: In a ternary mixture of calcium chloride, calcium bromide and water, these components are added so that x and n become 0.9W0.5mol and 6.2W 8.4mol respectively, when the composition is expressed as Ca(Cl2)x(Br2)1-x. nH2O, to give the objective storing material effectively working at 15W25°C.
