Abstract

PURPOSE:To cause the engine to perform a stable leading angle operation by processing signals generated at maximum leading angle position and a minimum leading angle position of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The first and second signal coils 1 and 2 generate at the maximum leading angle position and minimum leading angle position of the engine. These output signals are converted into pulselike the first and second signals e1' and e2' in waveform shaping apparatuses 8 and 9. The first and second signals e1' and e2' are supplied to the set terminal (s) and the reset terminal (r) of the flip-flop circuit 10. The output Q' and Q of the flip-flop circuit 10 are supplied to integrators 11 and 12, respectively, and after being integrated, these outputs are compared with each other in a voltage comparator 13. The output voltage is supplied to a signal generating circuit 14, and a pulse-shaped ignition timing signal Vs is produced as output.
