Abstract

PURPOSE:To determine a threshold value with a tool abnormality detector, by successively storing input from an NC machine tool which is variable in accordance with the state of a tool as a switch is turned on. CONSTITUTION:Based on NC information NI from an NC machine tool 2, a location on a tool is decided whether it could cause any abnormality in the course of machining. A switch 3 for setting a threshold value is then checked whether on or not. If it is on, an abnormality is to be checked for setting a threshold value which requires successive writing of input data from the machine tool 2 in a given memory.
