Abstract
PURPOSE: An adhesive tape or sheet for treatment that is prepared by adsorbing the active principles on the adhesive layer which has been provided by applying a porous and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to one surface of the base film, thus being used simple to permit the active principles to penetrate into the affected part gradually.
CONSTITUTION: One surface of the base film is coated with a solution of pressure- sensitive adhesive, half dried, dipped in a poor solvent and dried with heat to provide the porous pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. As the adhesive, is used a pressure-sensitive adhesive of rubber, acrylic or siliconic resin. Then, the active principle such as adrenocortical hormon, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine or antibacterial is adsorbed on the adheive layer to give the objective adhesive tape or sheet for treatment. The releasing speed of the active principles can be controlled by changing the diameter and number of the pores in the adhesive layer.
