Abstract
PURPOSE:To operate an AGC circuit without lowering information transmission efficiency by applying part of a distributed input signal to a delay circuit, by detecting the input level of the other distributed outputs, and by controlling the delay output on the basis of the detected level. CONSTITUTION:The AGC circuit of a communication system which forms a multidirectional communication network, between subordinate stations and one master station and permits each subordinate station to transmit a signal to the master station in time-division mode is provided with distributor 10 distributing an input signal to several parts. Part of the distributed input signal of distributor 10 is delayed at delay circuit 11 by a certain time (required to regulate level detection) and the delay output is applied to high-speed gain variable amplifier 15. Then, the output of distributor 10 is applied to level detecting circuit 12 to detect the level of the input signal and the detected level value is stored in level memory circuit 13; and a signal output indication from memory control part 14 is supplied to this circuit 13, whose level value is supplied to amplifier 15, so that gains to burst signals, differing in level, from respective subordinate stations is controlled.
