Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the amplitude and phase of an interference wave received by an auxiliary antenna to the best values linearly by periodically controlling them on the basis of the difference between the phase of fine variation and that of variation in interference wave power after compensation. CONSTITUTION:A signal received by auxiliary antenna 2 is inputted to amplitude and phase controlling circuit 3 and controlled with voltages obtain by adding the output of low-frequency oscillator 7 to outputs of voltage integrators 6a and 6b by adders 8a and 8b. The output of this circuit 3 and a signal received by main antenna 1 are mixed by synthesizer 4, whose output is supplied to BPF10 to extract an interference wave frequency band. Next, the output of BPF10 is inputted to envelope detector 12 to find the amplitude of the output of synthesizer 4. Next, after the output of detector 12 is amplified 13, phase detection is performed by phase detectors 15a and 15b by using the output of oscillator 7 and a 90 deg. out-of- phase signal obtained by 90 deg. phase shifter 14. Thus, the composite vector of synthesizer 4 rotates on origin O and the output interference wave of synthesizer 4 has a sufficiently small value, so that the interference wave can be suppressed.
