Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct a reference value at time of charging a resistance for generated power consumption depending on a variation of power supply side of an inverter device and charging the said resistance according to a difference between a voltage on the stanby rectifier and a voltage on a DC circuit. CONSTITUTION:A voltage-type inverted is connected through the intermediar of a main rectifier 1 and a DC intermediate circuit including a smoothing condenser C both connected to an AC power supply, and then an electric power of variable frequency is supplied to an electric motor 3. In addition, a standby rectifier 4 is connected to an AC power supply and an output voltage Vr from the said standby rectifer and a volgate Vd on a DC circuit are compared to control an electric current detector 5, so that a switch SW is actuated to charnge or shutt off a resistor R for generated power consumption. Consequently, it is possible to automatically correct the charging of the resistor R according to a chare in power suply voltage when the voltage Vd on DC circuit has increased following the starting of an electric generator at time of braking an electric motor 3. Thus the adjustment of a reference level value is not required.
