Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate at the maximum output of a solar battery always by controlling an inverter device with a frequency according to a detection value of output voltage in such manner that an output voltage of a solar battery may be almost constant regardless of a change in a solar beam energy. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery 1 drives an AC motor 6 connected to a pump 7, etc. through the intermediary of a varaible frequency control inverter device 5A consisting of a pulse width modulation inverter. In addition, output voltages from a battery voltage setter 10 and a solar battery 1 are compared by a comparison means 11 and a pulse width modulation circuit 14 is controlled through the intermediary of a voltage-frequency converter 13, controlling a continuity period and a frequency for the inverter diode 57. Consequently, it is possible to control an output voltage from the solar battery 1 so that it may maintain the almost constant level of a voltage corresponding to a voltage at time of the maximum output generation. Thus the maximum output can be obtained to make an effective use of solar enegy.
