Abstract
PURPOSE: To speed up label issuing by, after issuing a label printing figures such as unit price, weight, price, etc., based on the N-th data, printing units, and decimal points and commas which show units and pauses on the N+1-th label beforehand and making it stand by.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 73 provided in an operating unit receives and processes data from an RAM, and if a print command PC is given, a printer 5 prints data from a load cell 4, figures such as date which do not include decimal points on a label 89, feeds paper, detects the next label and stops feeding. While feed is being stopped, the printer prints units, decimal points and commas which show divisions on a label to be issued next and lets the label stand by until a next print command comes. By so doing, decimal point and comma printing is completed beforehand during the time the next label stands by at a specified position and receives measured data after the previous label was issued, label issuing can therefore be speeded up reducing a time required for printing with a single printer.
