Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt to miniaturize the entire part of a high load combustion device and reduce the cost therefor by making it possible to perform preheating and pressure increasing of combustion air by effective utilization of the internal evergy of the combustion gas.
CONSTITUTION: In combustion air supply paths 3a through 3c to a combustion chamber 7, there are arranged in parallel a pressurized supply device 1, an enclosed combustion chamber 5 and a gas turbine 2 for driving the supply device 1, and also paths 4 and 6 for supplying fuel to the combustion chambers 5 and 7. There is provided a flowpath 8 for supplying combustion air to the combustion chamber 5, and a cooling air supply path 14 to a cooler 12 is also provided. The flowpath 8 and the supply path 14 are selectively connected to an air supply fan 18. Combustion air necessary for fuel gas and initial combustion is supplied to the combustion chamber 5 to perform combustion, and combustion gas of a high temperature and high pressure combustion gas is produced. When a turbine 2 is driven by its entropy to drive the air supply device 1, preheating and pressure application of combustion air can be performed at one time. Hence, it results in economization of power and miniaturization of the device.
