Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for insulators among coil sides and improve the efficiency of winding work by arranging coils with coil sides housed in the same slots together with the coil sides of other phase near neutral points and Y-connecting the coils in double-layer winding three-phase armature winding. CONSTITUTION:In double-layer winding armature winding, which is formed by stacking coil sides at both sides among the coils of one phase together with the coil sides of other phase and housing the coil sides in the same slots, as the stator winding of 36 slots and 32 poles, the coils housed in the same slot together with the coil sides of the coils of other phase as slots 3, 4, 33, 34 are arranged near neutral points, and Y-connection is formed. Other coils are each connected in series every each phase. Thus, potential difference in the slots into which the coil sides of different phase are housed is decreased while being able to be levelled, and insulating reinforcement is simplified.
