Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the increased size of optical cable connecting structure and easily obtain the identifiableness of cores by ingeniously holding the connected parts and extra length parts of optical fibers by making use of the outside circumference of a cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:At the time of looping the plural optical fibers a1-a6 and b1-b6 having extra length parts l1-l6 and m1-m6 and being connected to each other by connected parts s1-s6, these are formed by being divided to plural sets of loop parts L1-L6; moreover, at the time of affixially connecting the respective loop parts L1-L6 to the outside circumference of a cylindrical body 1, the respective loop parts L1-L6 are shifted at every specified interval to the circumferential direction and the respective connected parts s1-s6 are alighed. Consequently, the extra length parts formed into the specified loops of not producing any microbends may be accommodated efficiently on the circumference of the cylindrical body 1 without any undue stress and in conformity with the cable-connecting sleeve; in addition, the identification of the respective optical fibers a1-a6 and b1-b6 may be made distinctly by the segmented loop parts L1-L6 and the aligned connected parts s1-s6.
