Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent insulating property of the subject rotor for a conductive bar as well as to improve its speed-torque characteristic by a method wherein the outer surface of the rotor core, which has been formed into the prescribed shape, is processed using a formation processing agent and an insulating oxide film is formed on the outer surface of the rotor core. CONSTITUTION:On the outer surface of the rotor core, which has been formed into the prescribed shape by laminating a plurality of slotted steel plates, an insulating oxide film is formed by applying a formation processing agent or by having the rotor core soaked into the formation processing agent solution. The formation processing agent including at least a kind of primary phosphate group consisting of manganese phosphate, phosphate of zinc, iron phosphate, lead phosphate and copper phosphate may be used at the temperature between normal temperature and 200 deg.C. Then, the conductive bar is formed by performing an aluminum die casting at the slot section. Through these procedures, the speed-torque characteristic can be improved as shown by the solid line in the diagram.
