Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent starting characteristic as well as to enable to give protection on the subject motor when it is overloaded by a method wherein the rotor section and the load thereon are enabled to rotate relatively by separating them and a sliding clutch mechanism is interpositioned between them. CONSTITUTION:On the inner circumferential side of the stator section, consisting of the outer yoke 1, having magnetic teeth on the inner circumference and a coil 3 are wound thereon, and an inner yoke 2, a permanent magnet rotor 6 is arranged. On the terminal plate 8 of the permanent magnet rotor 6, the hole wherein an output shaft 10 is loosely fit is provided and a friction ring 12 is installed on the lower surface of the terminal plate 8. This friction ring 12 forms the slide clutch mechanism opposing to the friction ring 12 similar to the one installed on the upper surface of the flywheel 11, and also the flywheel 11 is enabled to rotate in one unitary body with the output shaft 10. When the motor is started, a permanent magnet 6 alone starts rotation slowly and then the output shaft 10 begins to rotate by the sliding clutch mechanism.
