Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a fan-driven generator possible to continue giving a constant output through a wind collecting plate by a method wherein a wind mill is able to be driven by stronger wind than natural wind through a wind collecting plate and changing speed of the wind is controlled automatically through the driving mechanism of the inclination of a movable wind collecting plate.
CONSTITUTION: On the external side of an external diameter of a wind mill 1 of an arm 5 fixed to a casing 2 on the lower stream side of the wind mill 1, the movable wind collecting plate 7 divided into several parts in the peripheral direction is mounted rotatively in the axial direction through a driving mechanism 6. The output of the wind mill 1 can be increased remarkably by installment of the wind collecting plate 7. A part or all parts of the driving mechanism 6 can be moved slant-wise within the a-b-c-d ranges shown in the figure according to the wind speed. In other word, the speed of the wind is detected by the rotational speed of the wind mill 1 and in synchronization of this speed the wind mill is driven rotatively in the inclined direction through a gearing and the like. Thus, the inclination of the movable wind collecting plate 7 is controlled automatically through a driving mechanism 6 through the speed of the wind changes and the constant output of the wind mill can always be obtained.
