Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a rust inhibitor which makes it possible to carry out easily and rapidly a rust-inhibiting treatment of materials to be treated which have complicated shapes, by a method wherein an ethyl alcohol soln. contg. a water-soluble rust-inhibiting component is mixed with a specified pressuring solvent to prepare a spraying liquid.
CONSTITUTION: 0.05W1wt% one or more water-soluble rust-inhibiting components (e.g. benzotriazole monoethanolamine salt) and, if necessary, 0.01W0.2wt% spreader (e.g. ethyl cellulose) are dissolved in ethylalcohol having a purity of 99.5vol% or higher. A spray can is filled with the resulting ethyl alcohol soln. Then 97W87wt% pressuring solvent consisting of 5W30wt% trichlorofluoromethane and 95W70wt% dichlorodifluoromethane is introduced into said can under pressure to prepare a spraying liquid.
EFFECT: Discoloration due to oxidation of complicated shape electronic machine parts, precision machines, printed-wiring substracts employing copper and alloy material, can be prevented.
